The start
In 1933 Matthijs Timmermans founded the fruit dealer M. Timmermans & Co. The first activities were the trade in apples and pears. In 1960 his sons: Anton, Hen, Jas and Niek continued the company. It is a real family business, for both young and old. The brothers Thijs and Dies, sons of Niek, have been active in the family business from an early age and they are the third generation to run the company since 1996. In 1996 Thijs and Dies changed the name to Gebr. M. & G.G. Timmermans b.v. They bring the knowledge and expertise of all generations with them in order to serve customers as good as possible.

Today the brothers M. & G. G. Timmermans work in the company. Because the brothers have been active in business from an early age, they know the entire process from the orchard to the customer. With over 35 years of work experience, they manage the company. Today, in addition to the fruit trade, apples and pears are also sorted and packaged as desired. Locally, the company is known as “de appelschuur”. De appelschuur is a recognized training company, which means that young people are given the opportunity to develop within the company and get to know the agricultural sector.
